American Sign Language
The purpose of this club is to educate the student body on use of American Sign Language through interactive lessons and mock conversations. The ability to use American Sign Language to communicate is a fun and useful skill that many students may have interest in. It is our hope that by the end of their time in the club, all members should be able to hold simple conversations in ASL.
This club hopes to have regularly scheduled meetings lead by students or third party instructors fluent in ASL. If interest is high, this club could also be used to organize service projects to benefit the deaf community.
