Engineering Without Borders Student Chapter

The purpose of this club is to foster a sense of community and giving. Engineering Without Borders aims to provide free engineering work for communities in need around the world both in the US through its Community Engineering Corps and internationally. By having a student chapter at the Cooper Union, students would be able to work on engineering projects that will be erected in real life and impact real communities while also having the benefit of professional mentorship.

- Provide opportunities for Cooper students to help people in need
- Teach students about the real life impacts of engineering
- Teach students about how to manage projects
- Build a positive team environment for students of different majors to work together like in the professional world
- Allow students to be more involved in the communities that their work impacts
